New Will Roc track: The Definition of Bounce

I’m loving the different directions the Bmore peeps are taking things. There’s vocal-driven tracks from Say Wut, DJ Sega and the Brick Bandits crew are killin it with crazy drum programming and mad “what!”’s, and DJ King Tutt’s exploring the area between electro and techno with a distinctly club feel to it. DJ Will Roc’s latest stuff hasn’t really fit into any particular camp; his stuff has been a lot more light (not that this is bad, check my Mishka mix for his track Piano Man). He just posted up a track called The Definition of Bounce, which takes a page from King Tutt’s book but synthesizes things with Will Roc’s more melodic approach for a real nice track. It’s a bit more of a DJ tool than it is a song but hey, that’s not bad either!
