I woke up this morning to the news that K-Swift, one of Baltimore Club’s most preeminent figures, had passed away over the weekend. I never met her nor saw her spin, but listened to her mix shows on 92Q as often as I could via their frustratingly difficult to access stream. I don’t have much to say that others haven’t already said, but she’ll be remembered and missed. Rest in peace.
Put together a lil mix for the Sunday before last’s Unruly Radio show.. lots of bmore-inspired, bass heavy breaks kinda stuff. A few exclusives in there too. There are a couple ruff moments but this wall all done live in one take. Wanted to keep it true to what I do live; when I can get away with playing stuff like this at least! There are a few more breakdowns than normal for voiceovers.. but ya. Tracklist and link post-click.
