Hey all! A few months ago I put together a remix of Cross the Dancefloor which I’ve been playing out pretty regularly, and has been heard on BBC Radio 1 a couple times. I’ve always planned on giving it away, but have been holding out on release until the day the Treasure Fingers EP comes out to spread it around. So since the EP’s finally up on digital download sites (support ‘em!) here’s my mix in full 320kbps glory:

I know a lot of you big timey DJs and producers have this stuff happen all the time, but it’s real new to me and honestly I’m still pretty surprised by it all. Annie Mac played my Dead Prez remix a little while back too but didn’t credit me. Bah. Everyone else got it right though at least! Oh and that Treasure Fingers remix is gonna be a FREE DOWNLOAD once Fool’s Gold drops the TF EP—keep an eye out, it’s some damn solid tracks!

I’m not gonna lie, LA is soooooo much driving and sooooooo many jerkz! But these are only the people who we randomly encounter on the street or like bulldozing into me while trying to navigate the club. Everyone we’ve actually met, totally rad. We’re playing the Daft Punk afterhours party tonight the TTL folks are setting up, which is kind of amazing given the surreal, nonsensical, and quite possibly impossible to listen to interview we did for their radio show yesterday. Like I said, good peeps. Good peeps.
