I’ve been in Greensboro North Carolina for the past week and it’s been so great. It was awesome the last time I was here in 2002, and it’s way awesomer now. My friend Mark runs a studio space that’s rented out by a ton of different people and has a recording studio, shop for woodworking and welding and etc., and practice space. There’s a community space people run out of their house with meeting/workshop space. People have dumpstered food distribution down pat, and Food Not Bombs serves three times a week. And people are really dedicated to their projects here, and to keeping each other sane. I’ve been working with my pal Stef on the Urban Pirates distro/label website and it’s just about done. But I’m about to get a ride to Raliegh/Durham to catch a flight home, so btowners I’ll see you shortly!
